THERAPY? Pull Out Of PHIL LYNOTT Tribute Concert

August 17, 2005

Irish rockers THERAPY? have announced that they will not be appearing at a special concert in Dublin celebrating the unveiling of the life size-bronze statue to the late guitar legend Phil Lynott of THIN LIZZY. The group's official statement on the matter reads as follows:

"Due to the promoters continuously failing to meet their contracted financial obligations, we have lost faith in them. We no longer believe that they will keep their word on matters financial. As we will not be put into a situation where we are exposed financially to costs for which we should not be responsible, we have been, with much regret, forced to pull out of the show. It is not a decision which was taken lightly.

"Instead, on August 20th we shall be playing The Barfly in London, as part of Kerrang!'s series of five shows which precede their annual awards ceremony. Full details of supports will be announced in this week's Kerrang!. . . Look forward to seeing you all there…"
